Build Engineer- (php, java, Linux) London

The worlds largest multinational entertainment company is seeking a Build Engineer to define, implement and execute the release of products from builds through to production.

You will be working alongside the engineering and operational teams to ensure the smooth deliverance of products and that all deliveries meet the operational acceptance Criteria.

The role will give you responsibility to design, manage and automate scripts for building, testing and deploying code and databases into multiple environments.

The position requires an in-depth knowledge of Java and PHP build technology within a Linux environment.

Technical requirements:

* Excellent PHP and Java technical understanding and development skills.
* Source control systems (SVN or GIT)
* Automated environment deployment tools (openstack, AWS, Vagrat, Puppet or Chef.
* Experience with 2of the following (ANT, Maven, RAKE, Groovy)
* Apache HTTPD.
* Apache Tomcat or JBoss.
* Tracking tools such as Jira.
* Message Queue platforms
* Understanding of Nexus, Artifactory or similar artefact repository tools.

Advantageous:

* Software testing,
* Experience working with offshore teams.

This is a large scale project which will give you the opportunity to show case your skills and be a key part of the strategy which is to roll this out across e-commerce and reporting platforms.
