Build Engineer (Contract) - Dublin 2 - €470 per day

CONTRACT BUILD ENGINEER - 6 - 12 MONTHS

My client is looking for an experienced Contract Build Engineer to join their team in Dublin City Centre. They are building the next generation solutions to drive the business forward. The new application set is being developed using MS-stack (ASP.NET/MVC/net/SQL server), and will be rolled out globally.

6 - 12 Month Contract

Rate: 420-470 per day neg

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Contribute to the build automation and continuous integration and deployment.
- Development experience on ASP.NET MVC application.
- Experience with creating automated installation and deployment processes.
- Very strong build automation skills are essential, especially PowerShell Scripting.
- Experience in .NET, PowerShell, IIS, Visual Studio 2013, Windows Xml Installer and web services architecture are essential for this hands-on role.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

- Ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in a build engineering role.
- Practical knowledge of Source Control Management, specifically branching, tagging and merging of different code streams (ie Subversion).
- Strong Scripting skills, especially PowerShell.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Xml Installer.
- Microsoft Development/Build technologies, ie ASP.NET MVC (.Net 4.5 and VS 2013), SQL Server 2008, IIS 7.
- Continuous Integration (ie Team City).
- Automated deployment technologies ie Octopus.
