Hourly: to $70 W2/$82 Corp-to-Corp

ABOUT THE POSITION
GTN Technical Staffing is searching for a Build Engineer/Configuration & Release Manager for a 6 month contract opportunity in Las Colinas, TX. This position will be in charge of staging and coordinating production release activities, as well as ensuring overall quality of QA and production build environments. You will define policies and procedures for the release management process and the source control system and maintain the source control system for our client's QA environment.

The ideal candidate will have deep experience with build configuration and automation and secondary strengths as Release Management ie coordinating releases, release documentation, etc.

In this role, there may be some light release management coordination during this contract but candidates need to be strong with source control administration and configuration, build configuration and administration, and build automation experience. Candidates will receive bonus points for heavy Team Foundation Server/Visual Studio experience.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

5+ years of experience in the following skill sets
Build Configuration/Administration
Continuous Build Process Frameworks - Cruise Control or ANT (or similar)
Release Management Processes/Change Management Processes - Developing/Implementing/Managing/Automating
Release Cycles - Planning/Managing
Source Control Systems - Versioning/Labeling/Developing/Implementing/Managing
Proven ability to deploy multiple target platforms concurrently
Team Foundation Server (TFS)
Advanced understanding SQL Server 2008
Knowledge of .NET Architecture/Web Deployments/IIS
Application Server Software Distribution

PREFERRED
Visual Studio Team Foundation Server Source Control (TFVC)
Microsoft Visual Source Safe
Bachelors degree or certifications
