Build and Release Engineer Job

BUILD RELEASE ENGINEER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in San Ramon, CA.

What You'll Be Doing
- The Build Release Engineer will manage release branches
- The Build Release Engineer will work with Product Line Leaders
- The Build Release Engineer will work with senior software managers and architects to develop multi generation software technology plans
- The Build Release Engineer will drive increased efficiency across the teams
- The Build Release Engineer will build and sanity test release binaries (Server Side)
- The Build Release Engineer will maintain the build process to support ongoing R&D

What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Expertise with a variety of build, release and management packages and processes such as Git, ANT, SVN, CVS, Clearcase, Hudson, Maven, Buildbot and Cruise Control
- Experience with build automation tools (Robot, Jenkins/Hudson, BuildBot, Parabuild, CruiseControl, Bamboo, Puppet)
- Expert knowledge of build, release and configuration management practices, including branch-based development and patch-oriented work flows
- Passionate about staying current on trends and best practices in build and release management
- Experience with Scripting and automation skills including Shell and one or more of Perl, Python, bash, Ruby, PHP, or a similar language
- Working knowledge of high level software development facilities/utilities: source code management, bug tracking, virtual machine environments
