Build and Release Engineer

Build and Release Engineer required for 4 month contract in Sydney CBD.

SKILLS REQUIRED

- Strong hands-on experience in any of the following: Python/Perl/Shell/Ruby (Any one mandatory)
- Strong, demonstrable experience with databases - PostgreSQL, MySQL or Oracle.
- Automation experience in Build and release management - ANT, Maven, Groovy (Any one mandatory)
- Experience with Source control systems and concepts - Git, Sub-version (Any one mandatory)
- Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment concepts and tools - Bamboo/Jenkins/Any other tools.
- Basic Linux administration, basic exposure to CRM systems (KANA preferred)

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Automation and execution and smoke testing of deployments to Integration & SYS environments
- Create the releases for the team
- Testing of build jobs during migrations of new applications and technology changes
- Management of Software Artefact Repository, such as Rational Asset Manager or Nexus
- Support developers and project teams
- Support/Build infrastructure for CI (bamboo build agents)
