Build and Deployment Engineer

Due to continued expansion, Selection Services are looking to recruit a Build and Deployment Engineer based on site in Sheffield.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone with previous PC and Laptop build and deployment experience to join one of Europe's leading Managed Services Providers.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

- Knowledge of building new Dell PC's and Laptops using an image stored on a deployment server.
- Installing new PC's and Laptops and data from existing PC's and Laptops including transferring PST files, Normal.doc files, Favourites etc
- Maintaining asset registers as required
- Experience of Windows XP and Windows 7 build and deployment
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Ability to initiate the encryption process on Laptop units
- Liaise with Support Teams when necessary to ensure any additional software is pushed out to individual machines
- Ensuring old equipment is removed from the customer work space
- Following customer health and safety requirements
- Following project schedules and escalate delays and issues back to the Project Manager

This is a Fixed Term Contract which will run until the end of March 2014, therefore the ideal candidate will be available for immediate start.

The successful candidate will be required to complete a CRB check and may be requested to complete SC Clearance at a later date
