TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS AS A BUDGET SPECIALIST:
- Proficient in online transactional systems,
- Advanced Excel skills, formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUPS, etc.
- Experience managing budgets or accounting or finance work
WHAT WILL A BUDGET SPECIALIST BE DOING:
- Act as central point of contact for all Self Service Purchasing (SSP) system transactions for Marketing and Sales organization
- Process & track organization's purchase order requests, check requests, receipts against POs & vendor set up, accurately and expeditiously
- Accurately & consistently maintain team Excel expense trackers and send reports to directors
WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:
- Three (3) plus years of experience in a similar role required, processing POS, invoices, & ensuring all balance against each other
- Financial or accounting background
- Position goal is to have this person manage & reconcile the GL report of credits/debits
BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Must have excellent follow up and pro-active problem solving skills, and ability to self-teach via training documents
