Budget Manager

A number of job opportunities have arisen on a Contract basis for Budget Manager's to work for a Central Government client in High Wycombe

You will be responsible for carrying out an in-year financial management and reporting role for specific basic level budgets (BLBs).

You will produce the In Year Management forecasts including variance analysis and identification/costing of risk; Financial accounting including contribution to the production of the end of year accounts; on a monthly basis identifying and posting accruals/prepayments and corrections via transfer entries/journals; Producing, and checking costings for Business Cases; Investigation of financial data and trend analysis; Financial scrutiny and approvals

You will have previously provided monthly forecasts and analysed figures to identify trends and variances. Having knowledge of accruals, Oracle and the public sector would be advantageous.
