We are currently recruiting for our client, a prestigious telecommunications company, for a Technical Architect to join their business in Poland.

Position Title: BSS Technical Architect
Position Type: Contract

Requirements:
- The Technical Architect will be responsible for Including Hardware Survey, Requirement Analysis, Integration Design, Deployment, DFX testing, go-live/cutover support, knowledge transfer for BSS Infrastructure.
- Clarify the infrastructure requirements by site survey, define the requirement specification, including backup and recovery solution, high availability and security requirements, etc.
- Technical Architecture Design and Infrastructure Integrated Detail Design, Include Hardware Design, IP Network Design, Signaling Network Design, and Software Deployment Design, etc.
- Onsite Installation Survey and Design
- Onsite Hardware installation and basic software installation base on Integration Design, including hardware testing, Operation System, Database, Application, backup and recovery, high availability and Geographic Disaster Recovery.
- Infrastructure including OS configuration, DB configuration, and Network configuration, and the basic connection between NGBSS elements, and interface between NGBSS and the other system, including inbound and outbound.
- Network connectivity and quality Testing, Backup and Recovery Testing, High availability Testing, Geo-DR switchover and recovery testing
- Support for all the testing and go-live/cutover, including infrastructure basic optimization. The environments including production, Geo-DR, pre-production, SIT, training, Data Migration, IOT, BCT, E2E, UAT, etc.
- Transfer infrastructure knowledge to manager service team during the project implementation.

Qualifications
- Proven TA experience within major BSS or IT integration projects.
- DBA or OBA experience
- Knowledge of the Huawei BSS solution is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of Computer including mini-computer or server's hardware and Unix/Linux operation system, Logical Volume Management, Storage Management, etc.
- Ability to Oracle Database installation, commissioning, optimizing, monitoring, backup and recovery, etc.
- Ability to maintain middle modules including Weblogic, WebSphere, Tomcat, Jboss, etc.
- Ability to install and configure network equipments including Router, switch, Firewall, load balance, etc.
- Knowledge of telecom, such as SS7, Diameter, Real Time Charging, Customer Care, etc.
- Ability to perform job functions to standards under pressure of tense/confrontational situations.
- Ability to remain calm and courteous with demanding/difficult customers and/or situations.
- Ability to provide concise and clear, written and verbal reports.
- Ability to present technical information to audiences with a wide range of technical knowledge.
- Ability to work independently.
- Fluent communication in English & Polish.
- Knowledge of eTom and ITIL is desirable.
- Diploma, degree or above in a relevant technical discipline.
- Certification of some training or authentication, such as
- Oracle Certification (OCP or some other certification)
- Data Network Certification
