Brocade ADX Engineer - Watford - 6 Months

Roc Search's client is currently recruiting for a Brocade ADX Engineer.

This is a 6 month contract working for a great firm.

Brocade ADX - JD

Responsible for the installation, configuration and maintenance of load balancing Services relating to Web infrastructure and Services.
Strong Working knowledge on VIPs and load balancer configurations
Take Servers in/out of VIPs (via GUI) while resolving issues
Create/Deploy new VIPS based on the requirement
Modify switch configuration and maintenance of load balancing rules
Optimise load balancing rules in conjunction with Application Management team
Disaster Avoidance for SAP-Critical Applications
Regularly review Ironview/Brocade Network Advisor to ensure Switches are healthy and attached Servers are passing health checks.
Troubleshoot highly complex hardware problems; research and analyze significant complex network problems that require evaluation
Upgrade load balancer firmware
Monitor/Review Load Balancer Hardware for High Availability
Raise a ticket with Brocade support to cover any remediation work.
Strong knowledge in DNS, TCP/IP Networking concepts and Firewall Rules
Knowledge in Web Administration/Hosting would be added advantage
