Brook Street are currently working on behalf of our Global IT client to recruit a Brand Manager. This is a 6 month contract role based in Central London.

Role Purpose
The Brand Manager, will be responsible for managing, education and guiding a all users of the company's brand, within the Consumer Apps and Services Marketing team within Microsoft.

Working within a multi site Brand and Creative Team (London, Palo Alto and Redmond) the Brand Manager will help implement clear processes, communication and deliver the tools needed for a consistent and cohesive brand implementation for the company and to help deliver value to the other brands within the portfolio, including the master brand.

Core duties and Responsibilities:
Brand Guardianship through education training and guidance to employees, vendors, partners and agencies who use the company's brand. Enthuse and inspire the delivery of an outstanding branded consumer experience through presentations, workshops and brand inductions.

Be first point of contact for all brand queries and approvals on all third party use of the brand within agreed service levels.

Management of brand identity assets in various locations, ensuring current version is available on all Asset Systems (eg: Microsoft Brand Tools, Sharepoint Sites, Dropbox). Supplying correct assets where needed.

Work with core product design and creative and editorial teams to manage regular updates to brand assets including UI, style guides and brand identity iconography

Provide regular communication of updates, review and refine processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of brand implementation .

Writing, designing, updating and management of evolving brand guidelines and 'How To's'

Management of projects within the brand team, liaising with other parts of the business and external agencies.

Support Brand and Creative team with day to day requirements which include research, preparation of presentation decks and artwork support.

Skills and qualifications required

- Experience working in a brand team (either agency or client) with hands on experience of brand management principles.
- Must have strong project Management skills and will thrive in a busy Brand and Creative team often with tight deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal and influencing skills.
- Ability to work with cross functional teams on complex projects with multiple stakeholders, many of whom are in a different time zone.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, word etc and a good working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
- Knowledge of the different files required for different use. Digital, print, video etc.
- Ability to inspire and enthuse users of the brand to empower teams to protect and nurture the brand.
- Attention to detail is essential

As a Brook Street contractor you will be entitled to 25 days holiday per annum, 8 days paid Bank Holidays, discounted gym membership, use of the onsite health facility, access to online learning and training, free parking and an excellent subsidised restaurant. In addition, subject to qualification criteria, you will have the potential opportunity to earn bonus.

Salary: Up to £250 per day
Location: London
