ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Primarily you will be responsible for environment builds, product integration, followed by transition of the project/environments to the BAU run team, support and maintenance of new environments which are running on high-scale systems for thousands of users within multiple pre-production and production environments. You will be working within a multi-disciplined team to initially assist with the build, then handover, support and maintain a number of complex Middleware Oracle environments. You will have excellent technical skills and communication skills to match. To be successful in this role, you will need to handle a rapid rate of change with spotless reliability, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

- Reporting into the Middleware team lead and programme directors.
- Support the Test environment Build programme
- Build and support new environments
- Liaise with the Release Management Team
- Support vendor PMR's and manage the vendor support interface
- Support of the Test environment during Testing
- Tuning and Performance
- Environment upgrades and performance tuning
- Liaise with the Environment team

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATION:

- Deployment and configuration of BPPM agents
- Enabling BPPM Monitoring
- Integration of other monitoring tools with BPPM eg Tivoli and OEM
- Building a BPPM monitoring estate
- Using BPPm in an active support role
