BPA/Financial Analyst

Harvey Nash is looking for a BPA/Financial Analyst for a 5 month project in Switzerland.

The role is for a candidate with experience in drug discovery processes and experience with legal matters. The candidate will work with legal departments and senior management and should therefore have not only experience in basic administrative area.

You are responsible for

. Managing financial planning and budgeting of function specific costs, headcount and capital investments
. Monitoring adherence to budgetary targets (costs, headcount and capital investment) including regular reporting with variance analyses; generating regular reports: monthly Executive Summary including Riskprocessing Service Level Agreements between IT and service receivers/providers and ensuring proper actual charging
. Ensuring compliance with accounting and reporting guidelines (Group, Pharma and Finance guidelines), proposing and initiates process and productivity improvements
. improving cost transparency for IT specific costs globally

Requirements

. University degree (or equivalent) preferably in Finance or Accounting. Alternatively higher education combined with financial experience
. Fluent in English (oral and written); German (a plus)
. 2-5 years of relevant experience in financial business.
. Strong communication skills with an ability to synthesize key points
. Excellent Analytical skills
. Excellent tool skills (SAP, BW, MS Office)
. Ability to interact in a complex business environment
. Must be very well organized and able to handle pressure, difficult deadlines in a dynamic environment
. Able to independently plan, organize and complete multiple complex and sensitive activities simultaneously in a timely manner and with a high degree of accuracy
. Must deal effectively with confrontational situations and be able to resolve conflicting resource demands or priorities
