BOOK CLOSER - CANARY WHARF BASED - Contract role

A tier one investment bank is currently seeking to recruit a Book Closer to join their offices based in Canary Wharf.

As a Book Closer you will assist in the implementation of a new book closure process across the PB business and close outstanding books until the book closure process is completed.

Requirements and behaviours for a Book Closer:
*To understand the books closure process from front to back and then transfer this knowledge into a complete front to back book closure process.
*To work with different stakeholders in the bank to help clear balances on books and eventually close the books down
*Good communication skills
*Target driven
*Self-initiated and actively chase on open items
*Accounting experience preferred as role requires posting journals
*Proficient with excel
