Bodyshop Supervisor

We are looking for a bodyshop supervisor in Corby on a temp to perm basis. Previous experience is essential. See below the duties/ experience you will need:

To oversee all operational aspects of a bodyshop in the Corby,Northants including the following areas; InspectionWIP max. 10 day turnaround / >95% right first time / >95% on time delivery.
To monitor performance within departments to ensure the volume & quality of work is achieved focussing on reducing re-work and fast tracking urgent /sold vehicles.
To ensure the volume of cars processed and completed adheres to the business plan.
To manage holiday requirements and absence of the operational team.
To liaise with customers, specifically with regard to agreeing a resolution on estimates that are in dispute.
To be responsible for cleanliness and housekeeping of the facility and adhering to all health & safety requirements / COSHH.
To be responsible for the security of the building both during and locking up at the end of the shift.
To ensure at all times that company equipment and tools are kept in a clean, safe condition and to report any shortages or damaged/faulty equipment to the Operations Manager.
To maintain a professional attitude, building and maintaining relationships with internal and external customers.
To act in a manner which is efficient, orderly and timely, ensuring all tasks are achieved within the set time-scales. Lead by example.
Must be able to use email and communicating back to other areas of the business regarding vehicles that are at Corby 1 (e.g. urgent / sold vehicles) is essential.
