BODS Senior Consultant - Melbourne Contract

My client is a specialist group worldwide, dealing primarily with SAP BO-BODS/BOBJ and Integration work, usually across large SAP Migrations and MNC clients

For a client in Melbourne, they want to hire under contract for a period of 6months +, a well-experienced BODS Consultant

You will have: a majority of the following

- 5+ years experience in developing and architecting Data Integration, Data Management, and Data Quality Services solutions specifically utilizing BusinessObjects Data Services, and having been involved in SAP Migrations
- Expertise in the BusinessObjects Data Services platform products (Data Integrator, Data Quality, Information Steward, and MetaData Manager). In addition, the ability to position all of these products correctly in an enterprise solution
- Coordinate with the client and ERP Techno/Functional consultants to map existing Legacy system data and structures to the SAP ERP system. Ideally should have experience doing extracts from both Non-SAP and SAP source systems
- ETL design and implementation involving the extraction of data from a variety of Legacy systems, integration, and cleansing of data before loading into data warehouses
- Experience with Data Quality for Data Cleansing, Data Profiling, etc.
- Work directly with clients to validate requirements for cleansing and standardizing existing Legacy master data and provide custom configurations in unique environments
- Use BusinessObjects Data Insight to perform data profiling on source systems to assess Legacy data quality
- Interest in sharing knowledge and mentoring other team members
- Demonstrated business process modelling and requirements definition
- Strong understanding of business functions addressed by Data Services solutions, including: Financial Management/Reporting; Supply Chain, Sales and Marketing and ability to articulate the business value of Data Services
- Strong understanding of methodologies used to implement Data Services solutions
- Experience in evangelizing and educating internal personnel on Data Services solutions and how our capabilities can be leveraged to win business

A rate of between Au 600 and 800 day can be negotiated, and we need someone ASAP
