My Client are searching for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join the Global Information Management (IM) organization. The mission of IM is to manage our customer's information, fueling their competitive edge and success with reliable and innovative IT solutions in a more proactive way.
Solution Specialist - Interfaces
We are transforming from a traditional internal IT organization oriented to administrative and technical support locally, to a more strategic role within the global IM organization.
You will be a key part of the realization of this transformation providing overall guidance, structure and authority for the creation and maintenance of interface solutions. You will report to the Regional Head of Interface Management, EMEA I but work very closely as part of Global and Regional projects and other
Solution Specialists in the Solution Delivery organization.
Your main responsibilities will be:
*Act as the key systems authority for assigned Interface solutions
*Design the details of the Interface solution both functionally and technically
*Ensure Interface solutions are technically robust and are technically fit for purpose.
*Create design documents: high level functional and non-functional design as technical design specifications
*Monitor technical activity within projects, highlighting major issues and formulating solutions.
*Provide level 2 (Interface technology) support
*Work with project managers to ensure designs and technical deliverables meet project objectives.
*Guarantee all work is compliant with internal and external audit requirements and complies with financial legislative requirements (eg statutory, reporting, tax etc.)
*Work closely with the Solution Architects, Infrastructure Architects, Solution Specialists and other technical team leads to ensure any proposed solutions fully integrate with existing and developing architectural patterns.
*Manage the vendor(s) to make certain they are performing to contractual agreements
We are looking for a proactive team player with good problem analysis and resolution skills. You should have at least 3 years experience in a related role with strong Interfaces understanding and ESB tools (Tibco preferred), ETL and Integration tools (eg IBM DataStage, Informatica, Oracle toolsets) and SQL development knowledge.
You should be detail oriented, work accurately and independently and perform well under pressure. Fluency in Spanish and English is a must; French is an advantage.
The position is based in Madrid, Spain but other locations within EMEA I region can be considered. Occasional travel (up to 20% of time) will be required.
Rate: Negotiable
Length of contract: initially end of year
