BO Migration Specialist

For one of our clients based in Basel, we are urgently looking for someone who has experience in Business Objects Migration.

Task:

The key tasks will be based around migrating from Business Objects BOXI 3.1 to BI 4.1 which will involve a significant migration of Desktop Intelligence reports to Web Intelligence. This is viewed as a technical upgrade, the overall project goal is to have the same functionality in the BI 4.1 Web Intelligence as is currently implemented in the BOXI 3.1 platform. The person we are looking for will join a team of Business Objects specialists aiming to complete the migration of all the reports used here by March 2015.

Skills/Knowledge Required:

- At least 2 years of experience with SAP Business Objects.
- Significant contribution on at least 1 major project converting BOXI 3.1 Desktop Intelligence reports to BI 4.1 Web Intelligence.
- Good knowledge of Business Objects Live Office is required.
- Good knowledge of the Business Objects Universe Designer is required.
- Knowledge of Infosol tool Infoburst and the EBI Experts tool Version Manager would be an advantage.
- Knowledge of Sybase IQ as a source system for Business Objects Universes would be an advantage.
- Good interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Previous experience in the banking/finance industry would be an advantage but is not essential.
