BO FUNCTIONAL EXPERT

BO Functional Expert. of my financial banking client is urgently looking for a BO Functional Expert for a 6-12 month contract in Brussels, Belgium.

THE BO FUNCTIONAL EXPERT WILL:

The Business Intelligence team is a part of Data Department. The mission of this team is among other things to develop and maintain the BI assets (DWHs, data marts, BO universes, ).

Within BI team, BI Data Tooling platform:

- Manages the support and maintenance of BI Infrastructure and tooling as well
- Deliver functional support towards end-user on different BI technologies
- Define best practices and guidelines document to be used by end-users the bank needs a Business Object universe and report designer in order to enforce the functional support provided to the business. Function description
- The mission has different aspects:
- The candidate must be assess universes and reports complexity
- Act as a consultant within Business teams and advises on best practices
- Reinforce the Business Objects support team with functional knowledge
- Support the Designer by providing guidelines and advises
- Ability to understand functional problems to propose solutions Education Bachelor/Master in informatics - Engineer/Commercial engineer

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE:
Experience

- At least 5 years of experience in Business Objects and support function. Focus on thorough experience in BI 4 and BOXI 3.2
- A professional experience of at least 5 years.
- Technical experience:
- Mandatory
- Large experience with BI4 Webi.
- BI4 expert knowledge (data model, universe design, reports design, dashboard).
- Oracle database, MS SQL Server,
- knowledge

LANGUAGES REQUIREMENT: French Fluent or fluent in Dutch. Dutch Fluent or fluent in French. English Good.
