BMC Remedy Senior Systems Administrator

Travel may be required up to 50%

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Provide system engineering and analysis support the BMC Remedy ITSM, Remedy Analytics, Remedy SLM, Remedy SRM, and Remedy RKM including installation, integration, maintenance, and Tier 3 support.
Evaluate the Remedy ITSM architecture and provide recommended changes in processes, configuration, software, and hardware, as needed.
Provide engineering support for the development and maintenance of engineering and related technical documentation.
Provide engineering, test and evaluation, and operational, post deployment and life cycle support of the Enterprise ITSM, Remedy Analytics, Remedy SLM, Remedy SRM, Remedy RKM, BMC ProactiveNet Performance Management (BPPM) Suite and BMC Remedy Analytics and Dashboards.
Provide technical support, to include: performing on-site visits to develop requirements; on-site installation, engineering validation, and test support, and engineering analysis technical reviews.
Perform and document technical engineering studies and provide over-the-shoulder training as required.

EDUCATION
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience

REQUIREMENTS
5-8 years of directly related experience in systems administration.
At least 7 years working experience in Remedy IT Service Management (ITSM) version 7.x or greater including the following subsystems and modules: Remedy Service Desk (Incident Management and Problem Management), Remedy Change Management (including Release management), and Remedy Asset management, and/or current Remedy Developer certification in ITSM Versions 7x or greater.
Extensive experience working with integrating BMC Remedy Products in an Enterprise-level environment (at least seven (7) years' experience in in increasing levels of effort).
