BMC Monitoring Architect - ASAP Start - Luxembourg - Rate TBC

For our client in Luxembourg we are looking for a Monitoring Architect who will be supporting the project for initially till end of February and could be possible to extent after.
BMC - MONITORING ARCHITECT
DESCRIPTION OF THE ACTIVITIES OF MONITORING ARCHITECT:
- design and review architecture
- responsible for the evolution of the products, and the implementation of future versions
- define policies and operational procedures to be used by technical teams
- impact assessment of changes
- provides technical lead for the BMC Monitoring technologies
- capacity management for the infrastructure used by the monitoring tools
EXPECTED TECHNICAL SKILLS OF MONITORING ARCHITECT:
- Proven experience in BMC (Patrol, Proactive Net, xMatters, ...);
- Ability to understand and design complex Middleware architecture for monitoring; o sound understanding of the monitored technologies (Linux, Weblogic, Oracle, Coldfusion, ...)
- Experience with administration of Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g like OSB or SOA would be considered as a major asset;
- Experience with various administration methods (Plain Console, Command-line, WLST/Oracle Management Server) would be considered as an asset;
- In depth knowledge of UNIX based infrastructure services (processing, monitoring, Shell Scripts, Perl, etc. );
- Proven experience in Java programming language would be considered as an asset;
BUSINESS SKILLS NEEDED FROM MONITORING ARCHITECT:
- Knowledge of ITIL functions and processes (Service desk, Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management);
- Previous experiences working for an European Institution would be an big asset
LANGUAGE SKILLS
- English
- French would be considered an asset
INTERPERSONAL SKILLS
- Flexibility in time and adaptability to work activities (work in shifts and on-call);
- Team oriented (supportive, enthusiastic...);
- A solution driven attitude and customer oriented;
- Good communication skills;
- Contribute with improvement ideas and proposals.
- Ability to work in a sometimes stressful environment.
