BMC ITSM & Remedy Technical Consultants

Job Title: BMC ITSM & Remedy Technical Consultants Location: UK or Europe Contract Length: 6 Months+ Daily Rate: Negotiable, plus expenses Our client is looking to recruit a Lead BMC ITSM & remedy Technical Consultants to architect, deploy, configure, support, and in some cases, train customers on BMC Service Assurance & Remedy products. The roles are on a contract basis and will be based in the UK or possibly Europe, so good communication skills in any other major European language would be of particular advantage. Ideally candidates with in-depth knowledge, gained on a commercial basis, of BMC ITSM, BMC Remedy, BMC Atrium CMDB, BMC SaaS (RemedyForce), BMC Event Manager (BEM), BMC Service Impact Manager (SIM), and preferably knowledge of any of the following of particular advantage: Netcool, Microsoft Manager of Managers (MoM) or SCOM, Tivoli, Network Node Manager (NNM), or Unicenter. Candidates must have operating systems knowledge (UNIX and/or Linux), and networking, and some coding preferably Java, C, or C++. Experience with all the listed applications is not necessary, but good understanding of at least one is a minimum. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: · Install and configure BMC ITSM Service Assurance applications (BEM, SIM, BPM (PATROL), Portal, Performance Assurance, ProactiveNet, or others) · Customize BMC ITSM Service Assurance applications · Implement integrations with BMC ITSM Service Assurance applications · Troubleshoot and support BMC ITSM Service Assurance based applications and systems · Draft technical installation, configuration, and customization specification documents · Conduct requirements gathering workshops · Draft use cases and functional requirements documents · Communicate strategies and best practices for product implementation · Design custom or product-based solutions based on BMC ITSM Service Assurance application The roles will be on a contract basis and will be based on client sites in the UK and possibly Europe, good daily rates and all expenses paid.
