For a major international client in Vevey, we are looking for a:

BMB IT SOLUTION ARCHITECT

to manage the risks and control cost by driving the Vendor development in the right direction by keeping the technical integrity of the out client's BMB solution.

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

- Design the solution Architecture and related hi level technical specifications by coordinating the different Architects specialists in order to build a solution aligned with the business requirements/functional specifications and properly integrated into our client's landscape.
- Present architecture in ARM (Architecture Review Meeting). Review detailed technical design proposed by Application Development Vendor. Solution Performance: ensure delivered solution is reaching the present and future expected performances.
- Release Management: Ensure first time right delivery in production environment. Collaborate with PM and Sustain Coordinator to plan releases and remove conflicts.
- Development Standards/Compliance: Ensure overall compliance of the solution with the Technical Standard, Internal Practices and processes.
- First Time Right Functional specification delivery: Review the functional specifications, contribute to extra functional requirements, define/select the best hi-level technical approach, to ensure Application Development Vendor will be in position to provide first time right proper technical specifications.
- Collaborates with project manager/functional owner to clarify business requirements, assess high level design, risks, impact on performances, workload, cost, project plan and assumptions through the provision of technical expertise and application knowledge.
- Technical Roadmap: work closely with Enterprise Architecture Team to Establish technical roadmap strategy, and Identify early enough, specific new technologies for which vendor need to ramp up for future developments.

CANDIDATES MUST BE ABLE TO DEMONSTRATE:

- Solid Solution architecture skills on large projects in international organizations with a disciplined overview of priorities and technical integrations
- Hands on experiences in Database development, Database performance fine tuning, Application installation in complex environment
- Technical project coordination (onshore/offshore experience)
- Experience in conducting architecture reviews and aligning a technical solution towards best practices
- Fluent in English both written and spoken
- Technical Design skills on following Microsoft technologies, with international mind-set

This is a contract position with an international client for 6 months, in the first instance. The client is located on Lake Geneva, in Vevey.

Info-Tech will provide advice and support through your relocation if you are working in Switzerland for the first time.
