Bluetooth Test Execution Tech

Our LARGE ENTERPRISE CLIENT\'S BLUETOOTH TESTING TEAM is looking for a HIGHLY MOTIVATED WIRELESS TEST TECHNICIAN who will excel at test activities for WIRELESS COMMUNICATION PRODUCTS. This Tech will work with wireless PC platforms testing all aspects of features and performance.

Typical duties will include working independently to set up and execute a predetermined set of configurations and test suites that include OS installation, AP setup, application software installation, Router and switch configurations, all under controlled RF conditions. Includes debugging PC hardware platforms and other technical problems as they occur, building systems and configuring hardware, as well as installing and running various PC operating systems including Windows Vista, Windows XP, and Linux.

REQUIREMENTS:

- College degree or equivalent experience mandatory
- 2 years in software validation and test case execution
- Understanding of software QA methodology preferred
- Experience installing and configuring Microsoft OS's from Windows XP forward
- Experience configuring and operating an automated test environment
- Ability to run predefined software installation and tests in a controlled environment, and record both the system set up and test results accurately
- Ability to debug PC hardware platforms, configure hardware and install and run various PC operating systems, including Windows Win7, Vista, Windows XP, and Linux
- Good verbal and written communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

ADDITIONAL SKILLS (NICE TO HAVE):

- Knowledge/experience in wireless technologies like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 802.16 technologies
- Experience with test automation Scripting
