Bloomberg AIM Consultant/Business Analyst - New York

A European Investment Manager is currently seeking a Bloomberg AIM Consultant/Business Analyst to work from their New York office but will also consider candidates for the European office.

Role
The Front Office Applications Business Analyst in New York is a key role within the IT organization.
Take an active role in deploying Bloomberg AIM in New York
Provide support to Bloomberg AIM users in New York
Liaise with Bloomberg desks and Support in Europe

Responsibilities
Conduct the migration of Bloomberg AIM in New York
Support Bloomberg AIM users in New York
Drive enhancements of Bloomberg AIM for New York users
Ensure overall coordination with IT and Bloomberg

Skills
Very strong knowledge of the Asset Management business, including financial asset classes and instruments, and financial processes. Mainly on the hedge funds side
Strong analytical skills, with a solution oriented mindset
Very independent with strong planning skills
Experience in implementing, supporting and using Bloomberg AIM
o Broker set up: BRKX, Broker Group, permissioning
o Prime Broker: FSID
o Decision support: BDS, MODE, SECT, TSDR, BENCH,TSCF,MAV
o P&L: Excellent understanding of the different P&L components: Price Impact (Realized locked, unrealized), FX Impact (Realized locked, unrealized), Income, Financing Cost, Transaction costs
o Order Management: B/S, OI, OMX, OAX, XPT, TBLT, TH, TARL
o Trading: EMSX, ETBR, TSOX, FX
o OTC Derivatives: SWPM, SWPV, CDSW, OVME, OVCV, OVML
o Compliance: CMGR, VMGR, PTSR 3
o ADMIN: FIRM: setting up users, use group, account, account group, OMS defaults, Allocation methods, Asset Classes Default (FX, Repo, CDS, IRS, Exchange Rates), BDS custom prices.
Strong knowledge of flat files manipulation and transformation
Good knowledge of SQL
Any additional technical skills a plus (eg, VBA)
