Black Belt/Green Belt/Process change Consultant/Process Change Lead/Institutional Change hire is required by tier 1 financial services institution based in New York. My client is going through a massive cost saving initiative across the bank globally - covering offices in London, Frankfurt, New York and London. Opportunities exist in all of these locations. The bank is looking to improve their finance function and save costs by increasing efficiency and improving the way they do things and increase productivity. They have recently carried out a massive current state' analysis exercise globally, which has identified multiple projects which require attention. They are now at the delivery stage.

It is not essential that you are an investment banking or even a financial services experienced candidate, as they are looking for functional experts (Lean/Black Belt/Green Belt), not sector experts. You will need however, to have worked for large complex organisations (for example, the finance department of this financial services institution is over 4000 people alone). That gives an idea to the scale of change they are embarking on here.

Whether you are at Lead level (Project Manager) or Analytical level (Business Analyst), you should be a Lean expert and qualified Green or Black Belt (the programme is being run by a master Black Belt, who will be carrying out the interviews). If you are a Black Belt, it is likely;

- You have 8-10 years post qualification commercial experience
- Running smaller programmes of work (Hands-on)
- Describe yourself as a hybrid Process Lead/Project Manager

If you are a Green belt, it is likely;

- You will be a strong analytical mind-set
- Be a process transformation expert
- Be a Business Analyst/Analysis mind-set

The client does not want to see candidates who's experience falls into the following;

- Those who are design' rather than delivery' focused - this role is 100% delivery
- Short roles - the client is looking to see candidates who have been on site with clients for 2+ years, to show you will have gone through an entire delivery life cycle of a challenging programme of work
- Those who are Six Sigma only
- Candidates who have been in Process Change roles for a number of years, but have only recently become qualified as a Black/Green Belt

This is a massive programme of work with a large pipeline of projects. Contract longevity almost guaranteed to successful candidates.
