Biztalk Consultant

DEVELOPMENT

- BIZTALK
- Minimum of 3 years hands on development experience with BizTalk version 2006 R2 or greater (2010 or greater preferred) working with common BizTalk artifacts along with custom pipeline component development
- Working understanding of topics such as correlation sets, convoys, multipart messages, XSLT, XSD, message routing techniques, working with large messages, WCF adapters, etc.
- Experience with a unit testing methodology
- Experience with EDI Accelerator a plus
- Experience with migrating between BizTalk versions a plus
- SQL
- Hands on experience with TSQL including writing queries, views, store procedures/functions
- Working understanding of topics such as various joins, key types, indexes, etc.
- Working understanding of PLSQL a plus
- .NET/C#
- Minimum of 5 years' experience with .NET Framework/C# (version 4.0 or greater) development including WCF Web Services, XML serialization, threading, streams, unit testing, etc.
- SUPPORT
- BIZTALK
- Hands on experience in supporting a multi-server BizTalk Enterprise 2006 R2 or greater (2010 or greater preferred)
- Working understanding of using the BizTalk Admin Console/HAT to find issues and locate instances/messages, implementing a deployment methodology (BTDF preferred), determining server farm health/capacity, binding files, and host tuning
- Experience with setting up a new multi-server BizTalk environment
- MICROSOFT SQL SERVER
- Some administrative experience with SQL Server 2008 R2 or greater
- Ability to troubleshoot query performance issues, resolving deadlock issues
- Working understanding of the BizTalk backup process
- OTHER
- Experience with queueing technologies (msmq, MQ Series)
- Experience with web Servers such as IIS, Apache, etc. (IIS preferred)
- Experience with using network troubleshooting tools (Wireshark, fiddler) a plus
- DESIGN
- Understanding of various messaging patterns and SOA concepts
- Demonstrate an understanding of various BizTalk adapters and their capabilities
- Understanding scaling concepts
- Understanding of security as it relates to messaging and transports
