BIZTALK ADMINISTRATOR

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS

- Detailed knowledge of Microsoft BizTalk Server 2009 (schemas, mappings, messages, pipeline components, adapters, orchestrations, business activity monitoring, health and activity tracking, business rules/process management, trading partners etc) and associated products
- Experience and working knowledge of industry best practices related to BizTalk, EAI, messaging and workflow
- Knowledge of the BizTalk HL7 Accelerator and the HL7 messaging standard (v2.x) an advantage
- Experience using Team Foundation Server an advantage.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Release and configuration of BizTalk assemblies to agreed timelines
- Packaging of BizTalk assemblies into MSI files
- Installation of BizTalk 2009 across multiple environments
- Configuration of the BizTalk artefacts (orchestrations, send and receive ports, etc) across multiple BizTalk environments
- Performance monitoring and tuning of BizTalk installations
- Provide support to the Test & Release Manager in progressing BizTalk releases through Stage, Test and Production
- Provide configuration and support for Production BizTalk environments
- Provide out of hours support via remote access.

EXPERIENCE

- Extensive experience (at least 3 years) administering and configuring BizTalk solutions using BizTalk 2009/2006 R2/2006 across multiple environments
- Experience installing and configuring BizTalk 2009/2006 R2/2006, particularly in clustered environments
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with internal IT resources and business customers in a fast paced, demanding environment
- Ability to manage and schedule own work
- Health industry background is an advantage.
