Biostatistician Tenure Track Faculty

Participation in various activities in the newly established WesternU Ventures. Teach BioStatistics and Research Design in the Graduate College of Biomedical Sciences and Interact with faculty throughout Western University of Health Sciences and provide support for their statistical needs.

Applications are invited for one tenure track faculty position at the assistant or associate professor level in the Graduate College of Biomedical Sciences and the Center for Clinical and Translational Research, Western University of Health Sciences, on its Pomona, California campus. Rank and salary will be based upon qualifications and experience.

Preferences will be given to candidates with a PhD in biostatistics or closely related discipline. A strong experience in designing and analyzing data for clinical trials is highly desired. Preference will be given to candidates with additional postdoctoral training. The Graduate College is currently offering several master's degree programs and plans to soon initiate an original PhD program in Translational Biomedical Sciences. Successful candidates will be expected to establish externally funded independent research programs, interact with existing faculty in all the WesternU Colleges and contribute to mentoring graduate students. Applicants must therefore exhibit excellent written and oral communication skills. The Graduate College provides competitive salary and research startup funds.
