BIOS Validation Engineer

THE SOFTWARE VALIDATION ENGINEER IN THIS CONTRACT POSITION WILL BE WORKING WITHIN THE BIOS VALIDATION TEAM, ENABLING SYSTEM BIOS AND VALIDATING NEW FUNCTIONALITY FOR THE LATEST SERVER SILICON.

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

- Designing, developing and debugging BIOS Validation Tools and Software
- Investigating and adapting appropriate existing tools to BIOS validation group

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- You must have at least a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or a Master of Science degree in Computer Science or Electronics Engineering or equivalent
- BIOS KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE along with demonstrated BIOS experience
- Strong knowledge of software validation theory
- Strong Java, C++, or C# coding skills and/or knowledge
- Scripting languages knowledge such as Python, Ruby, Pearl, etc.
- Linux Server Admin skills/knowledge
- Good software architecture and design skills
- Strong object programming skills

PREFERRED SKILLS:

- Good knowledge of PC hardware architecture to the functional level
- Good problem solving and decision making skills
- Good communication skills
