BIOS Validation Engineer

BIOS VALIDATION ENGINEER

Our client is the leading computer components manufacturing company seeking a Software Validation Engineer. In this position, you will be working with the BIOS validation team, enabling System BIOS and validating new functionality for the latest server silicon.

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

- Designing, developing and debugging BIOS Validation Tools and Software
- Investigating and adapting appropriate existing tools to BIOS validation group

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or a Master of Science degree in Computer Science or Electronics Engineering or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of software validation theory
- Strong Java, C++, or C# coding skills and/or knowledge
- Scripting languages knowledge, eg Python, Ruby, Pearl
- Linux Server Admin skills or knowledge
- Good software architecture and design skills
- Strong object programming skills
- Good problem solving and decision making skills
- Good knowledge of PC hardware architecture to the functional level
- Good communication skills

This contract position is expected to be 18 months in duration.
