Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing Associate

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a BIOPHARMACEUTICAL MANUFACTURING ASSOCIATE to join our client in Rockville, MD.

JOB OVERVIEW:

The Manufacturing Technician will be required to perform manufacturing activities related to the production of biopharmaceutical products. These activities include the operation of computerized and non-computerized bioprocess equipment. Must be able to follow batch records and standard operating procedures and effectively execute scheduled production activities from a master schedule.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Following batch records and SOPs as designated
- Confirming raw material receipts to assure batches manufactured contain proper ingredients and quantities
- Making equipment connections and disconnections correctly and safely
- Operate equipment for in-process testing to ensure batches meet specifications
- Maintaining records and clean room environment to comply with regulatory requirements
- Operating computerized and non-computerized bioprocess equipment
- Completing Batch Records and Logbook entries accurately and completely
- Preparing assemblies, glassware and materials for cGMP operations
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Ability to exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor's degree with zero to one (0-1) year of experience.
- Experience with Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures within the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
- Must be able to work a shift that covers a 24/7 operation.
- ABLE TO LIFT UP TO 50 LBS.
- Detail oriented.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team.
- Able to accept supervision and work in a sometimes stressful environment
