LAB TEST SCIENTIST

MY CLIENT, A LEADING HEALTHCARE ORGANISATION BASED IN MAIDSTONE IS URGENTLY SEEKING AN EXPERIENCED LAB TEST SCIENTIST TO JOIN THEIR TEAM FOR A MINIMUM OF 2 MONTHS. PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE OF TESTING WITHIN A LAB ENVIRONMENT IS ESSENTIAL ALONG WITH THE ABILITY TO RECORD DATA USING COMPUTER SYSTEMS.

LAB TEST RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Test Scientist supports development of test for products. The Test Scientist is involved in many facets of qualifications, including verification and validation.

Specific responsibilities include:

- Execute test procedures.
- Offer suggestions to refine and automate test procedures.
- Support development teams and provide need pre-qualification and verification testing.
- Support the qualification of lab area productivity improvement efforts, including testing, calibration and data collection.

Lab Experience required:

- Bachelor's Degree in Papermaking, Chemistry, Materials or related field (or equivalent working experience)
- Understanding of qualification of equipment and test procedures.
- Generic Lab experience
- Familiar with computer systems such as Excel.
- Quality Control experience
- Ability to enter simple Data and process graphs
- Must be avaliable to start work within the next two weeks.
