Biologist I Job

BIOLOGIST I needed for SEVERAL LONG TERM CONTRACT opportunities for Yoh's client, a world leader in the agricultural industry located in Chesterfield, MO.

What You'll Be Doing:

- Contribute to selected insect control projects
- The candidate will assist in the implementation and maintenance of laboratory, growth chamber, and field experiments that will capture data critical to the projects
- Perform laboratory and field work including plant care, data collection, keeping laboratory records.
- Perform Word processing and spreadsheet software.

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

- B.S. or M.S. in Entomology, Biology, Plant Sciences, or a related field.
- Experience with western corn rootworm management or insect rearing is a plus but not required.
- Working knowledge or at least general understanding of plant-insect relationships (particularly as it relates to insect pests of corn and cotton) is preferred.
- The candidate will also have one to two (1-2) years of experience with general laboratory and field work
