Biologist I Job

Yoh has several long term contract opportunities for a BIOLOGIST I to join our client, a world leader in the agricultural industry, located in Davis, CA.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- DNA, RNA extraction, basic cloning skills, Northern blot, western blot, PCR, electrophoresis
- The candidate needs to be careful to the details and eager to develop new protocols from literature as well

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- A BS degree in Biology or related discipline, or equivalent experience is required
- Candidate who has some statistical skills is preferred.
- More than two (2) years of experience with Bio Assays
- More than five (5) years of experience with Centrifuge
- At least one (1) year experience of Cloning
- More than two (2) years of experience with Electrophoresis
- More than five (5) years of experience with Good Lab Practices
- At least 1 year experience with Northern Blots
- More than five (5) years of experience with PCR Molecular Technique
- Biological laboratory experience beyond coursework is highly desirable
