THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:
- Help desk experience
- Troubleshooting
- BS or MS in Bio or Plant Sciences
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
- First line phone support to work as a key team member in the deployment and support of TPS Biotech and Field Breeding applications for our clients.
- Main focus will be to provide first line phone support for global user community, including assisting user in the installation, use and problem diagnostics.
- This person would also be responsible for logging all calls from users, distributing new releases of software, and working with second line support to resolve user issues.
- Requirements areas are BS or MS in Bio or Plant Sciences, knowledge of Excel, Access, and MS software along with the ability to learn new software.
- Help desk experience desired.
- Successfully drive global launch of productivity and collaboration solutions, leveraging communication and coordination to ensure user adoption.
- Work closely with product managers, user experience professionals and business partners to understand change management required to achieve business objectives.
- Coordinate and facilitate end-user training and product demonstrations.
- Partner with Communications team to create user training and communication materials.
- Coordinate user participation in production pilots.
- Manage innovative use of social and collaboration tools to drive engagement and adoption.
- Increase knowledge about different business functions and other tools to increase self-efficiency and better understand the needs of our customers.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:
- The position requires a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of five (5) years related work experience in Customer Support, Training, Communications or IT field.
- The successful candidate must have a passion for understanding users and their needs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Influence: Capable of networking within a Matrix structure to build cross-functional awareness and execution.
- Problem solving and decisiveness: Makes sound, timely decisions. Operates effectively in the face of ambiguity and uncertainty.
