The Bioinformatics Associate Research Scientist in the Computational Biology Department participates in data analysis, statistical analysis, experimental and analytical design, and data management for large-scale cancer genomics/proteomics studies. Participate in collaborative research with interdepartmental investigators and communicate and discuss with investigators on analytical process and results. Actively participates in methods development for integrating gene expression, protein expression and protein post-translational modifications. Responsible for or assists in preparing and submitting manuscripts for publication. Contributes ideas to automate or improve existing analysis methods. Assists with establishing and documenting protocols or best practices for common research tasks. Ensures that efficient and prompt response is provided to the SJCRH investigators. (MJP)
