Bio Engineer 6 Month Contract Leeds £38.00 per hour

Our client is a global leader in the manufacture of many product sets, they strive for design excellence in everything they do, due to continued growth and progression they seek the services of a talented Bio Engineer to work in the development team. You would be required to define the users needs, these users are medical professionals in a theatre environment, and write the design inputs based on their requirements. The role is very cross functional and you will with a project team of up to 15 mechanical design engineers to develop innovative instrument solutions, the role would suit somebody with experience of risk management in medical devices or a operational or process/production engineer from a similar background.

SKILLS REQUIRED
An understanding of commercial considerations and creative R&D ability is essential for the successful candidate.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in Engineering subject with 18 months in a relevant technical area. MSc or PhD in a relevant scientific subject is preferred.
