Billing Engineer - SQL

BILLING ENGINEER, IN OUR IT DEPARTMENT WE USE THE FULL SUITE OF MICROSOFT .NET TECHNOLOGIES WITH SQL SERVER 2008 DATABASES AND WINDOWS SERVERS (WINDOWS ENTERPRISE 2008 R2) - PHYSICAL, VMWARE, AWS EC2.

eCRM Euro we are looking for an experienced Billing Engineer. The Billing Engineer is responsible for the development, maintenance and improvement of our current systems within a SQL Server environment - but also to help us move to new technologies like Matrixx (OCS), NoSQL databases, and Cloud Computing (AWS). The Billing Domain includes all aspects of CDR Flow - from Mediation, Rating and Billing, to Reporting/BI. This is a highly technical hands-on position with Business and Systems Analysis included.

We require a mid-level to Senior Billing Engineer with a minimum of 4 years IT. recent and relevant experience.

You must be a team player and have excellent communication skills and real business experience in the following:

Expert in SQL Server 2008, T-SQL, SSIS, SSMS

Good working knowledge of C# and interacting with Web Services and APIs

Good financial knowledge and experience is reconciling financial reports - for the wholesale and retail bills

Experience with Cloud Technologies and Databases - like Azure, Amazon Web Services, and NoSQL databases like DynamoDB, MongoDB, etc.

Knowledge of Service Bus layer and technologies - ie nServiceBus, Mule, etc.

Experience with Matrixx OCS a definite advantage

Must be an Agile thinker with experience in Agile methods like Scrum and Kanban

Must be solutions orientated and deliver results very fast with excellent quality - the Telecoms environment is extremely fast-paced

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Help us successfully migrate to Matrixx OCS and provide interfaces via a Service Bus to all other CDR related components.

To maintain and optimize our billing and rating systems and databases

Offer business analysis support to the Finance Department to generate accurate wholesale and retail bills

Ensure Operational Excellence in this domain - keeping within our internal and external SLAs

Contribute to quality improvements, automation, and innovations

Help Teleena to migrate solutions into the Cloud

Take full ownership of the CDR/EDR flow of Teleena

Team responsible for two different invoice cycles: Wholesale and Retail
