Billing Architect

My client is a leading, global telecommunications operator looking for a Billing Architect to join them on a large project in Ireland. You will be responsible to produce high level solution designs for all new business requirements which are in line with IT Strategy, IT Architectures and Roadmaps.

Responsibilities:

*Responsible for the architecture effort for projects using appropriate program management and planning principles.
*To provide solution governance, expertise and direction to the development initiatives within VF-IE by reviewing requirements at an early stage and assessing their Architectural significance and defining solution options.
*Lead design reviews to ensure compliance to the target architecture throughout the development life cycle.
*Work with the Senior Architects in the architecture group to ensure that the target architecture/solution is aligned to our roadmap
*Deep knowledge of at Billing as a functional area and good working knowledge of another. (Oracle BRM knowledge would be preferable)
*Production of high level solution designs for all proposed solution developments
*Map solutions to application roadmaps and system architecture plans as well to general IT Strategies

Experience:

*Customer Solution Focussed
*Project Management skills
*Excellent communication, presentation and inter-personal skills
*Highly motivated, driven and capable of working independently
*Preferably 7 years experience as either a Software Developer or as a Business/Systems Analyst/Architect with at least 3 of these years in the mobile telephone sector.
*Have a 3rd Level IT qualification
*Deep knowledge of at least one functional area (CRM, Billing or Mobile Products and Services) and good working knowledge of another
*Ability to quickly gain comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the existing applications
*Experience of large-scale IT/Telecoms projects including full development life cycle and project management
