BILLING ADVISOR with excellent CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE required for 12 MONTH CONTRACT with UTILITIES COMPANY in INVERNESS.

You will be responsible for ensuring that all bills are issued accurately and on time, that all payments are correctly allocated and to be the first point of contact for enquiries and other issues relating to billing through all channels of communication.

Duties will include:

- Ensure all bills are issued accurately and on time, raising invoices and processing account amendments in accordance with agreed processes. To process and allocate payments to accounts from the various payment sources and ensure that all billing account details are recorded accurately
- Liaise with other teams across the business to obtain information required for customer billing activities and to provide information to customers/clients as required

Ensure all processes are performed in compliance with all pre-agreed documented processes and procedures, meeting internal audit satisfaction, identifying opportunities to improve and develop processes and procedures.

Experience required:

- Excellent working knowledge of billing processes, policies and systems
- Good time management skills
- Excellent communication/customer service skills - ideally you will come from a call centre background
- Experience ensuring bill accuracy
- Experience in investigating and resolving billing enquiries/complaints
