Bigdata Architect- Spark, Hbase, Kafka, Flume

A BigData Architect role based in Zurich with one of our top end clients. The client is looking for someone like you to focus on the development of the Spark platform and associated software.

Role: BigData Architect
Location: Zurich
Contract Length: 6 months
Start Date: ASAP

The candidate needs to have skills in:

- Hands-on Spark Streaming, Kafka, Flume, HBase and Solr
- Technology and tooling selection review and recommendation, including vendor evaluation
- Trusted technical advisor with key internal and external stakeholders
- Development of integration architecture with Legacy and new tooling
- Facilitate and participate in governance processes
- Provide direction and mentoring to project teams
- Ensure that all measures for security and compliance of data are adhered to
- Architecture, design and development of core platform capabilities including Information Security, High Availability, Global Points of Presence, Ingest, Disaster Recovery, Virtualisation
