WHAT DO YOU DO AS A BIG DATA TESTER?

You work in a multidisciplinary and international team of data engineers, in close cooperation with other IT experts, Data Scientists and representatives from the business. You participate in an Agile process where you challenge developers and make sure acceptance criteria are SMART. You setup and execute Integration and functional tests and in a CI/CD environment.

YOUR MAIN ACTIVITIES ARE

Testing large and complex data sets

Testing integrated data pipelines

Testing model frameworks

Develop automated test sets and frameworks

Maintenance of and deployment on the test environments

WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU?

5 years test experience in a data intensive environment;

Experience with keyword driven test automation (design, develop and execution);

Experience with continues integration;

Experience with dockerized environment (DC/OS);

Knowledge of testing big data patterns and concepts;

Basic Linux knowledge (bash)

Experience with Java, Scala or Python programming is a pre;

Experience in agile working environments;

Strong in communication and cooperation with different stakeholders within the Business departments and IT;

Fluency in English. Dutch and German is a plus;

A strong team player with a "getting it done" mentality;
