Big Data Senior Project Manager Job

BIG DATA, SR PROJECT MANAGER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Bellevue, WA.

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Sr Project Management
- Agile and SDLC
- Big Data project experience

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Project Manager for large, $5 million plus, projects.
- Defining scope, budget, risks for Hadoop, data analytic platform
- Communicating with clients, reporting to management
- Detailed Project plan preparation, review and alignment with customer and internal teams
- Monitoring and Execution control of project plan
- Status reporting to customer and other key internal stakeholders
- Recording and tracking of all action items identified during internal and customer meetings.
- Issue Reporting, Tracking of risks and escalation management
- Co-ordinate with other teams in the stream such as infrastructure, testing, managed services to ensure dependencies are tracked and met

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- 8 Years Project Management
- Experiencing managing large budgets
- Experience managing Big Data, analytic platform projects; preferably Hadoop
- Need to be a STRONG DRIVER and have a strong track record of delivering large scale projects
- Experience with managing financials and big budgets ( over $5 million USD )
- Experience with SDLC PROCESS AND AGILE METHODOLOGY
