Big Data Project Manager

IN PRACTICE

You will facilitate several projects which are already into Setup or Production Phase. You will define and prepare use cases for 2018. Some examples: set-up big data analytics cluster, build recommender system, facilitate marketing mix model.

Other good-to-knows:

- The initial scope would be 3 months (start date: 1st of September). Extension possible depending on results.
- This is a Full time assignment. Working 80% can be considered but is not preferable.

YOUR TASKS

The BI Advanced Analytics team is looking for a Data Analytics Project Manager with a proven passion for the emergent field of advanced analytics.

In your job, you will focus on the delivery of analytics use cases, driving their life cycle:

Ideation and validation:

You will perform research, interview partners, capture ideas, create use case idea cards, define the business case, get approval from the governance platform and define high-level data requirements.

Setup:

You will ensure correct translation of the business case into use case requirements, identify the analytical and data engineering needs and get an agreement with architecture on the proposed solution.

Production:

You facilitate and do follow up on project progress.
You are able to challenge the proposed outcomes in order to meet the highest expectations.
You take ownership of stakeholder management.
You report progress towards senior management.

Industrialization:

You will conclude business cases, define and perform follow-up on the delivery scheme of the industrialization, promote use case adoption with end-users and partners and monitor the added value of the use case implementation.

You will act as a liaison between different partners and must therefore ensure good communication.
