Big Data IT Project Manager

For one of our clients in the financial sector in Zurich, we are searching for a senior IT Project Manager for a contract role who has experience in delivering IT software implementation projects. The position will give the opportunity to gain experience in a complex project in a highly successful financial institution where you can have a direct impact on the success of the project and gain valuable experience at the same time.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Project responsibility for an IT application in the Private Banking Area related to Big Data and Analytics and/or Automation/and/or Artificial Intelligence (AI)
- Leading a project, manage interfaces to the various stakeholder management (across all functions) with exposure to Senior Management, adherence to scope, budget and schedule
- Independent supervision of the project
- Recording, analysis, definition, prioritization and testing of new business requirements
- Responsibility for the end-to-end delivery and IT implementation within the project
- Development and execution of user training and stakeholder communications
- Lead the strategic IT discussion, develop the business case and story line

IDEAL PROFILE

- Higher education in Finance, Engineering, Information Systems, Economics, or other relevant degree
- 10+ years of experience as project manager or program manager with IT implementations
- 3+ years of experience in Wealth Management, or Private Banking
- Experience in managing software development projects within a Financial Institution
- Good experience working with Agile Methodologies/Scrum Master Certified
- Experience with Big Data and Analytics and/or Automation and/or Artificial Intelligence (AI)
- Strong conceptual and analytical skills, technical flair
- Effective Stakeholder Management, experience in facing Senior business stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
- Self-motivated and proven ability to work with little supervision
- Fluent in English, German will be considered as an advantage
