Big Data - Hadoop Developer

Projektbeschreibung
MY CLIENT IS ON SITE WITH AN AIRLINER BASED IN BASEL AND THEY ARE LOOKING FOR A HADOOP DEVELOPER TO JOIN THEIR TEAM ON AN INITIAL 3 MONTH ASSIGNMENT. CONTRACT IS LIKELY TO BE EXTENDED TWICE.
TASK/ROLE DESCRIPTION
- Analyses business processesidentifies alternative solutions, assesses feasibility, and recommends new approaches.
- Supports on enhancing and alignment of the DevOps processes, ensuring that the DevOps team meets the business and project requirements
- Ensures that the system design balances functional, service quality and systems management requirements.
- leading and participating in IT architectural meetings/boards, preparing concepts
- Maintain the Infrastructure Roadmap (Sizing/operations/distributed computing), for all layers storage-processing-services-processes
TECHNICAL SKILLS
- detailed understanding of Hadoop Cloudera platform
- Senior product experience in maintaining & monitoring the platform,
- Expert technical skills in implementing the production quality code utilising Java-Spark SQL, Shell Scripting, Java and J2EE technologies
- Expert technical skills in database technologies, Datamodelling, code development and unit testing
