Big Data/Hadoop Architect - Stockholm/Sweden

Our Swedish client has a new Big Data Project and as such are looking for a Hadoop Technical Architect/Consultant to join in the new year. The Successful candidate will work in multiple Business Intelligence area projects using Hadoop and other technologies suitable for managing huge amounts of data.

Core responsibilities of assignment are:

-Defining technical requirements (SW, HW) for production, testing and development environments to meet functional requirements
-HW sizing and capacity planning to meet expected data volume requirements and performance requirements
-Leading proactively implementation of technical environment
-Efficient problem solving (technology lead) once those are identified
-Creation of guidelines and instructions for projects and system administrator

Knowledge of how to assess the performance of data solutions, how to diagnose performance problems, and tools used to monitor and tune performance
Excellent communication skills with both technology and business stakeholders
Extensive hands on experience with very large data repositories
Good understanding of Hadoop framework and Hadoop ecosystem
Hands on experience with at least one Hadoop implementation case
2 + years of experience with Hadoop, HDFS, NoSQL, Hive and Big Data tools
Deep understanding of data warehouse approaches, industry standards, and industry best practices
