Edelway is a Swiss IT Services Consultancy.
Our multinational client in the French speaking part of Switzerland (Geneva/Lausanne) is now looking for a Big Data/Hadoop Architect to join them at the early stages of an ambitious program. There is the possibility to work part and/or remotely. A first contract of 20 days will be assigned and then ongoing days during the next 6 months.
Starting Date: 15.08
THE ROLE:
You will be responsible for
- Requirements gathering through workshops,
- Providing support in the software selection,
- Designing the solution which includes the application architecture,
- And setting up the solution.
YOUR PROFILE:
- Strong experience as an Application Architect
- Fluent in English, French is a plus
- Strong knowledge in Hadoop (Horton Works, Cloudera, MapR)
- At least 3 years of experience working on Big Data and having deployed similar infrastructure
