Big Data/Hadoop Architect

A fantastic new opportunity within a Big Data project involving "Data Lake" implementation has recently arisen with our industry leading Nordic client. We are urgently looking for individuals with Big Data Architectural skills using Hadoop and other technologies suitable for managing huge amounts of data.

Responsibilities of the assignment will include solution definition, quality assurance, vendor documentation interpretation and issue handling.

Required competences (must have):
-Efficient problem solving (technology lead) once those are identified
-Quality assurance in Common Data Lake project
-Good understanding of Hadoop framework and Hadoop ecosystem
-Hands on experience with at least one Hadoop implementation case
-2+ years of experience with Hadoop, HDFS, NoSQL, Hive and Big Data tools
-Deep understanding of data warehouse approaches, industry standards, and industry best practices

Other competences (good to have):
-Knows agile and waterfall project methods and have applied those in previous projects

Personal skills:
Can lead other architects, has good communication skills and an ability to handle stressful situations
